REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. The RBT primary responsibility is the direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill acquisition and interfering behavior reduction. RBTs also collect data and provide support when needed.
BOARD CERTIFIED ASSISTANT BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCABA)
The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is an undergraduate-level certification. BCaBAs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). However, BCaBAs can supervise the work of RBTs and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions.
